citizens.<br><br>The city, reduced to a hellscape.<br>The people, transformed into figures<br>unbearably painful to look at.<br>Witnessed by the eyes of young children<br>who miraculously survived.<br><br>More than 75 years have passed.<br>Those young children<br>are now elderly, and,<br>as survivors, are called <em>hibakusha<\/em>.<br><br>Their lives were forever changed that day.<br>Suffering the aftereffects.<br>Enduring the guilt of having survived.<br>And yet, they continue to live,<br>placing their hope in the future.<br><br>This project was started<br>through an
